Acrylic Resins

Thermoplastic styrene acrylic resin. This resin is characterized by its excellent outdoor resistance and good resistance to abrasion. Additionally, it dries quickly, has adequate firmness, good resistance to water and good adherence to iron and steel. This resin has a great variety of applications. It is especially recommended for varnishes with architectural applications or varnish for the protection of fabrics, tissues and ceramics. It may also be used to formulate pavement-marking dyes, industrial dyes, waterproof varnishes and also as primer or sealer.

This is an anionic styrene acrylic resin in the form of an emulsion. This resin produces transparent and bright films with good resistance to water. It also presents a very good adherence in several types of substrates having very good performance in the light and outdoors. This resin has excellent resistance to alkaline environments. It is recommended for the manufacture of a great variety of dyes based on water, including some with high pigment concentration to produce low-cost dyes. It can also be used as agglomerating agent for fibers or for textile coatings.
